It’s something new and super easy to make. The sauce of the tomatoes with the juicy steak was a good combination and yet very light.
Taste the seasoning of the tomatoes. It has to have a bit of a tangy taste to it.

Ingredients needed to make this steak with tomato salad

Tomatoes – skin on and cut into small pieces.

Lemon – juiced

Basil – chopped gives such a great aroma to your salad

Scallions – pungent taste, and since scallions are at their best in summer, they are the perfect addition to any dishes

Olive oil – part of your dressing

New York steaks- 8 ounces each, and make sure they all are the same thickness and size for perfect cooking.

Ingredients 

  • 4 tomatoes, cut into small pieces
  • ½ of a lemon juiced
  • 1 flat-leaf parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon basil, chopped
  • 2 scallions, white part only finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 New York Steaks, 8 ounces each

Instructions

  • In a small bowl place the tomatoes, lemon juice, parsley, basil, green onions, olive oil salt and pepper. Mix well and let it rest.
  • Slightly cover the bottom of a large skillet with salt, and place over high heat. When hot add the steaks and sear them to your desire doneness. 5 minutes per each side for medium rare.
  • Place the steak on a plate and serve with the tomatoes salad on the side and pour the juice over the steak.
